Have you ever decided to skip an event and later come to mildly regret it? Like, walking at graduation or going to a school prom or work party?
Well, I just experienced this FOMO because I found out via email that Loophole won the Diamond Quill Award at the League of Utah Writers Quills Conference! I hadn’t expected anything to come of it, so I didn’t bother going to the awards ceremony. Whoops.
Anyway, I was beyond surprised because the Diamond Quill means Loophole didn’t just have the highest score in its genre (Young Adult Novels), but it had the highest score of any book in the contest! Pretty freakin’ rad. 🙂
