Diamond Quill Award from League of Utah Writers!!!

Have you ever decided to skip an event and later come to mildly regret it? Like, walking at graduation or going to a school prom or work party?

Well, I just experienced this FOMO because I found out via email that Loophole won the Diamond Quill Award at the League of Utah Writers Quills Conference! I hadn’t expected anything to come of it, so I didn’t bother going to the awards ceremony. Whoops.

THREE First-Place Firebird Awards!

Loophole won first-place Firebird Awards in the Young Adult, Urban Fantasy, and New Adult categories! With this I’ll be able to participate in the BoomBangOhMyGoshWow! Podcast and a guest post on Blogatini. Pretty cool, I guess.

Book Signing: FOR THE LOVE OF Art Studio

So I didn’t realize this existed at all until I was going through my last box of old things the other day. Eight-year-old me had, by that time, planned an overarching series that would have included probably at least six or seven more sequels.

3 Months of Loophole + Plug for Reviews!

Happy Leap Day! So, 3 months ago today my novel Loophole was released. And it’s been really good—I’ve had some great in-person events and my publisher, Black Rose Writing, has helped get the book into the hands of way more readers than I could have reached on my own.
