Comic: The Ugly Duckling

Here’s another example of a comic strip drawn by Loophole’s main character, Alannah. Some of her work is more lighthearted than others. The strips I’ve been commissioning all revolve around the central theme and mechanic of the novel, which is the relationship between outward appearance and inner morality.

The main character of Loophole, Alannah Merlot, is a young cartoonist interning at a pop culture magazine. I commissioned an artist to draw some examples of the kinds of comic strips Alannah creates.
